CSDR: a data layer for Rich Communication Services

The Converged Subscriber Data Repository is 11,575 lines of sole-authored Java EE answering one question: can heterogeneous subscriber stores present a single standards-conformant interface to an IMS core.

MySQL, MongoDB and Redis sit behind one OData repository, built as a 3GPP user data convergence realization and exercised inside a live testbed rather than a simulation. The specifications came from 3GPP and GSMA directly.

The work produced two SATNAC papers and a Telkom Centre of Excellence award for Best Computer Science Research Student.
